Theory and Discussion
A practical course for Pilates and movement professionals who want to work with hypermobile clients more confidently and safely on the Reformer. Drawing on the Integral Movement Method (IMM), the course explores how to adapt exercises, equipment and teaching choices to support a hypermobile client and allow for safe, controlled movement. It combines an understanding of hypermobility with practical ways to tailor range, resistance, support and cueing to the individual.
The Understanding Hypermobility online workshop is a pre-requisite to any hypermobility focused workshops with Jeannie DiBon.

What’s the first thing you ask a client with a diagnosis?
Try this: “What do you want to be able to do?” Lifting a grandchild. Walking to the shops without pain. Skiing again. Start from their goal and the right movement follows.
That’s the mindset Dr Brent Anderson, Polestar’s founder, brings to King’s Cross for one day only. Introduction to Pathokinesiology is for Pilates teachers from any school, movement professionals and health professionals who want to meet every client with curiosity and confidence.
